1500W Dynamic load: braking by brushless motor

This simple braking system allows for testing 1500W rotating machines (AC or DC).
It consists of a control box for tabletop mounting and a Schneider brushless motor for integration into a test bench.
The motor applies a resistive torque controlled directly by the potentiometer on the front panel of the control box.
The energy generated by braking is dissipated by a braking resistor. Locked rotor testing is also possible.
This system is completely maintenance-free.
