Wiring of a pumping station with control box
This operating section, equipped with a containment cabinet, allows, with optional grids, to study and wire the different operating modes of a level-controlled pumping station.
The instructor demonstrates operation using a wired grid (option GHYD1-AD or GHYD2-ADC). The student then wires their own grid (option KX-GHYD1 or KX-GHYD2) before installing it in the cabinet to perform the tests.
Student safety is ensured by a cabinet door opening detection system. This cuts off the power supply.
If necessary, a key switch can be used to deactivate this safety device
Educational objectives achievable with the optional grids
• Observe and understand the operation of a level-controlled pumping station
• Wire the various operating modes
• Test the wiring by inserting the grid and connecting it to the pump
• Create the various wiring diagrams • Record electrical measurements (measuring devices not provided)
• Study the operation of on-off and analog level sensors
• Study the programming of a programmable logic controller with an analog output signal
• Perform industrial maintenance operations
